Description

Ramboda Falls is a magnificent, highly accessible 109-meter-high double-cascade waterfall surrounded by the emerald green tea carpets of the central highlands. It provides a picture-perfect rest stop when traveling between Kandy and Nuwara Eliya.

The falls consist of three distinct sections: the main viewing area near the bridge, a short climb to the powerful upper falls, and a trek down to the wider lower basin. After feeling the spray of the water, you can immediately dive into the surrounding tea country, visiting working factories to see how world-famous Ceylon tea is produced.
