The centerpiece of this colonial aesthetic is the glowing red-brick Nuwara Eliya Post Office. Built entirely in the Tudor Manor style with a distinctive clock tower, it has operated since 1894 and remains one of the most charming and photographed buildings on the entire island. You can still step inside to send a postcard home.
